Once again the Beautiful Emily!

The fabulous model Emily D and I went out last Saturday for two reasons.

We wanted an equally fabulous glamor shoot and wanted to check out this "bamboo forest" at Farbach Werner nature preserve.

While the forest wasn't what we had in mind, we still created some amazing images (after getting 200 mosquito bites and breaking their fence :) )

So then the beautiful Emily, Terri, Vivian, and I regrouped and made our way to a few more choice locations nearby to complete our glamor shoot with the kind of images that would really show off Emily's talent.

Here we are at a local office park (believe it or not).

The same office park.

Deep in Farback Werner nature preserve!

Emily is amazing and truly understands how she looks to the camera. Working with her is always a pleasure. If anyone else is interested in asking Emily for modeling services send an email my way and I'll pass it along!

THANK YOU EMILY!

I'll also have a little post next week on using the same locations for different looking shoots as we did this week!

Emily and Seth's Big Day!

Now that Emily and Seth have had a chance to see them I bring you the most awesome wedding in the world!
CHEERS!
Emily and Seth tied the knot April 6th of this year in a beautiful ceremony at the Madison
They are two of the most laid back fun loving people you could meet! They were a blast for my good friend Eric Cameron and I to photograph!
Eric took a trip south to join us for this special wedding capturing all the things I might miss... And I'm glad I did!
While I was here^^, Eric was capturing the competition above!
We also got the opportunity to do some things for Emily, Seth and the gang that we'd never done before, like Infrared Portraiture!
 The Lovely Ladies!
The Gentlemen
We even pulled out all the stops and photographed the ceremony with a remote cam! (Thanks Eric!)
 Then after some fine dining...
 And some hilarious sentiment...
 The party was on!
And every one had a great time!

THANK YOU EMILY AND SETH!

Island Shoot with James Hollenberg and Emily!

(F1.4, 1/8000th, iso 200, 50mm)
After a rough start to a photoshoot setup with lasers, James Hollenberg was gracious enough to invite me on a photoshoot like no other.
(F1.8,1/8000th of a second, iso 200, 50mm)
The location was a spectacular water scene complete with scrub grass and wind worn cliffs!
The only problem was... the model couldn't make it!
(F1.4, 1/1600th, iso 200, 50mm)
Luckily after a quick message the totally awesome Emily was onboard
...even though it was blustery, freezing, and we had to walk half a mile. :)
Emily is a pleasure to work with because she has really distinct style and poise!
(F2.5, 1/5000th, iso 200, 50mm)
(F22, 1/250th, iso200, 50mm)
We really had a blast running though the dusty beach and yelling over the lapping waves.
Mr Hollenberg, man, myth, legend, amazing location scout.
One thing I have to point out is that most of these shots are photographed at wide apertures with the Canon 600 Speedlights. F 2.8, 200mm, iso 200 here.
Sadly all we could take was an hour of frigid dinning wind-blast and we had to head back.
But not before we rocked it on a windy Ohio shore LA style!
Thank you Emily and James!

121909 Emily and the Snow (BisB)

The beautiful Emily was kind enough to accompany Terri and I out in to the winter wonderland this Saturday.

I had a couple of ideas for the "cold."

Emily was the perfect model!

PERFECT!

Some Photo Fun with Holly and Emily!

Last weekend I decided to get the creative juices flowing!
Luckily two of my favorite people in the world were available for some shots!
Above is the lovely Holly
And this beautiful lady is Emily!

We had a fine time testing out some new ideas I had.

Special thanks to Mr. Rekers for assisting!

And a big thank you to Emily and Holly!
