Hey my friends! I was busy shooting a Bat Mitzvah with Mr David Ziser this weekend so I am putting up an interesting leftovers post! Enjoy!

 

 

 

Misc Stuff

 This week no big event! It's been a nice week off. :) Just finished a Mitzvah with David Ziser last night as well. Fun times!

So here's a little stuff that has been lurking around folders on the archive! My little princess Vivian is now walking!

 Photographing corporate events sometimes leads to some interesting candids.  

 Don't even know what this is, but it's cool!

 I managed to catch a bee hovering around one bride's bouquet!

 One night while mommy worked late daddy and Vivian picked out our favorite pictures of her :)

 Everyone on facebook enjoyed this photo so much I thought I'd upload it at high resolution for you all to save as a desktop background.

Venus Jupiter and the Moon!

Last night after eating at the fabulous Italian resteraunt, Europa, Rob, Terri, Vivian, & I looked up to see three very bright objects in the sky. Later that evening Terri IMed me this link! To planets that haven't been back together since 2008 and our old friend the moon. I just had to put clothes back on and stand in the street that frigid night to preserve the moment. :)

011511 Just got back from Mexico!

Sorry we have been so quiet, Terri and I just got back from a fabulous destination wedding in Cancun Mexico!

This trip was amazing! And so were the sights! It was wonderful to leave the frosty snow covered hills of Cincinnati for the sparkling blue-green waters of the Yucatan peninsula for a week!!

This trip also marks the first vacation with our daughter Vivian. Even 6 months pregnant my wonderful wife Terri was a key part of the wedding coverage for our amazing friends Brett and Sam.

The sunrises were magnificent until the day after the wedding where it was cloudy and rainy. But the first 4 days were amazing!

Some of the entertainment at the resort was pretty cool, like this fire show.

This is our groom Brett. On the third day most of the guests went to the Tulum Mayan Ruins. A 4 thousand year old astronomical calendar site.

The waters here were the bluest and most clear of any place we had seen!

Terri could not pass up the opportunity to get in the water with the beautiful bride-to-be Samantha!

010311 Some Fun Stuff & Art

So finally after completing literally all of my photographic obligations over the holiday I get to put up some neat stuff I have taken along the way!

This is one of my favorite photos of my beautiful wife from one of our weddings in Lexington KY, this summer. It was once of those "stand there and let me see if I can use the location" moments. I love my wife. Sometimes I just can't get enough of her. :)

Because it's there. I love taking these. Every time a good sunset or sunrise throws myriads of beautiful colors across the horizon my mind races trying to figure up an excuse to photograph someone in front of the scene!

In a triumph over nature, this year I waited until the gutter had frozen to clean it out. The result was that I could slide out 3 foot long candy-bar style chunks of mostly frozen "gutter cloggins" at a time. WIN!

And the snow... that was fun wasn't it? This was going to be another embarrassing snow photo where you can see the big ol' snowflake spheres flying around me in a bathing suite and beach towel, but it was just too cold!
