The other day I was walking past the bathroom when I saw my lovely wife drying off in some amazing light! The sun was streaking in through the steam from the shower and it was perfect. So, being the nerd I am, I made her freeze while I darted for my nearest camera.
Practice seeing cool stuff. It will help you when you have to create on the fly.
