I love Sushi Sunday!

 TODAY IS SUSHI SUNDAY!
I have a lot of really awesome things to show all of you but for right now one more Not Photography Post.
Way back in the unlikely southern town of Lexington KY is the place I got hooked on the most delicious dish... raw fish... sushi.
(2003 Snap, what talent)
My amazing friend, John Baker, pictured below was the one who suggested we try out Miyako for lunch one day.
John is a great man, as evidenced in these 2003 spy can snapshots.
This was the best roll ever, The Pink Lady with a little bit of lemon on top!
Soon after I found out you can go broke eating at sushi restaurants real quick, we began learning the craft!
Go the whole family involved!

Mmmm octopus salad. :)

Soon after I got lazy and located some all you can eat buffets!
 Nom nom nom!
And specialty dishes.

PS - Sushi is awesome! I'm having some tonight!

Sushi Saturdays!

Sushi Saturdays have been getting really fun!
Often many people come over and join our fun times!
There is now even a juke box of Nirvana to serenade us!
 And all are welcome!
The Bankok Terrace sushi!
And then Laser Party!

I have a Sushi roll named after Me!

Well among other things I HAVE A SUSHI ROLL NAMED AFTER ME! Yes it's true! At the delicious Bangkok Terrace in Blueash Ohio there is a "Nicholas" roll! I didn't invent the recipe, but I do order it and a lot of sushi. So that's cool!
The rest of these images are some art I've taken along the journey!
 Blue banana!
 Rainbow!
Face smudge!
 And Vivian at the park...

Enjoy!

013010 Misc, Sushi, and Bowling!

Kyojin all you can eat sushi is the way to go!

This weekend Kasey, Trevor, Terri, and I went to Kyojin and then ....

After we ate way too much sushi we went bowling!

When the Actors Come Calling

So this one time the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park was
 showing "The Secret Garden."
Well since the lovely Kat Bishop works there she invited a select few of them ...
to come over and have a...
 And then we did.
First the delicious sushi rolled in Doritos crumbs.
(not my idea)
And then Lasers. Pointing at the moon.
Or gems
 Or old school sword fighting!

Yes, the actors we mightily impressed by our mad skills.

THANKS GUYS! STOP BY ANY TIME!

The Energetic Ms. Kate Part 2

Last week played host to another fantastic shoot with Kate!

Looking for a place safe from the potential rain, Kate's wonderful mom Charlene got us booked at Bootsy's Restaurant in downtown Cincinnati!

Bootsy's Restaurant and Manager Scott are really cool. The atmosphere leans towards middle eastern with accents befitting an owner who invented Funk. The food is Spanish influenced and they also serve some very tasty sushi (Monday night is half priced sushi night)! I highly recommend it!
