Keeping with my promise to not post only work, here's some stuff I've been collecting for a while.
Onward to Something New (fArt)
Once again the Beautiful Emily!
The fabulous model Emily D and I went out last Saturday for two reasons.
We wanted an equally fabulous glamor shoot and wanted to check out this "bamboo forest" at Farbach Werner nature preserve. 
While the forest wasn't what we had in mind, we still created some amazing images (after getting 200 mosquito bites and breaking their fence :) )
So then the beautiful Emily, Terri, Vivian, and I regrouped and made our way to a few more choice locations nearby to complete our glamor shoot with the kind of images that would really show off Emily's talent.

Emily is amazing and truly understands how she looks to the camera. Working with her is always a pleasure. If anyone else is interested in asking Emily for modeling services send an email my way and I'll pass it along!

The Stylin Mr. Kirby
Up and coming model Jeremiah Kirby and I got together earlier this week, finally. WE had been planning a combination shoot for months.
Part modeling shoot,
Part lifestyle shoot,
And a little something for the family. For all three the results were the same... AMAZING!
Jeremiah is a great personality in addition to being a talented model. He's studied the aspects that make models look great and works with the camera. It was a pleasure to create these photographs with him.

The Flynn Family
The day after Emily, Terri and I found the most beautiful places at Farbach Werner Park in Cincinnati, OJ Santiago and I took the Flynn family back for some beautiful family portraits!
It was a great shoot! And this time we didn't break anything!

My friend Bryttin Christensen has just finished up her thesis at the Cincinnati Academy Paul Mitchell Partner School and needed some photographs to show off her creations! I was lucky enough to get to help!
Bryttin wanted a retro/vintage feel for the images to match the style of the hair, clothes, and make-up.
We took all kinds of images to show off the hair and make up and style, but I just couldn't resist taking a few portrait style images!

We got to shoot in some pretty neat places and were even stopped by two passersby asking about our project. Aaaaahhh Cincinnati. Crazy town!

NERO CINCINNATI
Speaking of HOT! Another steamy sweltering shoot this week was one of my favorite freak shows, NERO Cincinnati!
Every few months hundreds of people from all over the eastern US to form a collective unscripted play that lasts for a week and is seriously intense!
This week-long quasi-play was particularly lively!
There were some pretty elaborate and awesome costumes too. This fellow drove 14 hours from Florida to attend!

I have to stay back, because the fighting is pretty intense and I have no need to get a camera slapped out of my hands with a stick. :)
This fellow has fallen or been thrown (more likely) off the castle.

It is an amazing event for sure. I talked to a half tiger, half priest for 20 min. Where else can you do that?
