Seeing as how today is Friday the 13th, I thought I'd do a series on Superstitions. So here they are! They are heavily photoshopped.

Bad luck to walk under a ladder you might drop stuff on you.

Bad luck to have a HUGE black cat cross your path.

Bad luck to spill salt on your slugs.

7 years bad luck for punching a mirror.

Bad luck to open an umbrella indoors.

Which is especially bad for us Photographers. We use umbrellas all the time.

For the first time in more than a year the boys and I got together.

Babies and distance seperated rock and roll

This weekend the super group reunited for the up coming album.

This post is dedicated to one of the most amazing individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, Kris Rekers. Mr. Rekers has been one of my closest and best friends for over 16 years . I love him as much as any member of my family. Longtime friends of this enigmatic gent will no doubt find this post not only funny but reflective. People new to the experience will be confused at first. Kris is the type of person who takes no cues from society. He forms his own impressions and forges a new path through life. I admire many of his qualities and have more than once relied upon his superhuman kindness in my times of need. I am deeply indebted to this exemplary human and I am sincerely thankful for having met this Übermensch sometime around my 13th year on the planet.

I love this photo. I laugh every time I see it. Terri and I were at Spring Grove Cemetery and I was showing her what not to photograph for senior portraits.
